Change Management Course
Do you find it difficult to manage people who are resistant to change? Are you a manager, leader or supervisor who either lacks the ability to adapt to change or responsible in helping other through the need to change? Then our TIPS for Good Change Management Course is for you!
Change is inevitable. What really matters is our ability to adapt to change, and where we are responsible for others, how we help them through it. Change in the workplace however can be stressful and unsuccessful, with around 70% of change initiatives failing. Competition is often one of the biggest drivers of change. Although it can be a very healthy environment as it promotes improvement, it can cause pressure within an organisation to make the necessary adjustments, therefore making the change process as smooth as possible is a vital part of any successful business.
The aim of this 1/2 day session is to understand the causes of change in the workplace and why change initiatives fail. Also, to understand the drivers of change and how to successfully manage your way through it. The specific knowledge and skills included in this course in support of the above aims are:
- What causes change
- Why many change initiatives fail
- How mindsets influence people’s behaviour
- The cycle of change
- Kotter’s eight steps to successful change
- How to manage people through change
