Independence Matters is an independent social enterprise business which has evolved from Norfolk County Council support services.
We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) which means any profits made are retained by the CIC and reinvested back into the services we provide or the local community. We support adults with learning disabilities, people with dementia, disabilities or mental ill health through a range of different support services.
Developing our leaders and managers is key to a successful business and we are consistently striving for excellence. Investing in their future is essential and we have worked alongside Tips for Good Management for nearly ten years now. We have developed bespoke sessions, coaching and workshops for the Company Board, senior managers and all line managers across the company. We have accessed formal qualifications including the CMI level 7 diploma.
